Exporting bug with Indesign 17.1

Hi,
I installed Indesign 17.1 last night on my Mac Book Pro. Everything seemed fine untill I tried to export my file to PDF later that night. Although I kept clicking on the export button, there wasn't any dialog box or comments were displayed.
This morning I had a meeting to attend with my PDF presentation which I was able to complete thanks to an older version of indesign installed on another computer which means my file isn't corrupted. But I'm still facing the same bug with this new version of Indesign and I don't know how to fix it?
Is there anyone here who has had the same bug and who knows how to debug it ?

Which OS version?

How much RAM and spare hard disk capacity do you have?

Did you use one of the PDF presets (which one)?

How did you (try) to view the PDF?

Have you tried resetting the InDesign preferences?

Thanks for your help and sorry for the late reply, I was caught in a two day meeting session.
Whatever caused the bug, it is now debugged, hopefully for good!?
