Extendscript open button is greyed out in creative cloud

I am in InDesign and wanted to lear how to script. I right clicked on a script and clicked "edit". This surprisingly switch to creative cloud and downloaded a program called ExtendScript. Never heard of it. Anyhow, once download and installed, the open button is greyed out and I can't open it. Same after a restart of the windows 10 laptop (Dell XPS 13)

Why?

Can I use sublime text instead?

Danke Uwe, aber solange .jsx-Skripte in ID 2023 wie gewohnt funktionieren, habe ich davor keine Angst 🙂

UXP-Skripte haben .idjs Erweiterung, ich habe schon ein bisschen Dokumentation dazu gelesen.

Ob es sich für mich lohnt, meine Skripte in UXP umzuschreiben, ist noch fraglich...
