I have a title with a double underline, but want to have a superscript letter in the midst with a separate, single underline. Is it possible to format this or do i have to create a separate textbox for the superscript letter (see picture)?

Use a paragraph rule instead of an underline and use the underline for the superscript.

Thanks! I was not familiar with paragraph rules - so now I learned something new and it solved the problem.

Do you happen to know if there is a way for the space created by a tab is not underlined when I use paragraph rules - "width text"? (for now I solve it by indenting the first row of the paragraph, but would love to know if I in the future can do it another way)
