Adobe Capture is a free mobile application that helps extract assets from raster images such as colors, fonts, and shapes. With the introduction of the Adobe Capture Extension in InDesign 2022, you can use the power of Adobe Capture from within InDesign. The extracted assets are automatically saved to Creative Cloud libraries.

Note: The Adobe Capture application can Capture color themes, patterns, type, materials, brushes, and shapes. However, the Capture Extension in InDesign can capture color themes, shapes, and Fonts only.

For detailed information on Capture Extension in InDesign, see this article

Tips and Tricks

Smooth on Save removes sharp edges and reduces the number of redundant paths and anchor points.

Lesser the paths and Anchor points lower the size of the file. However, smoothening while saving might slow down the save operation.
