I'm trying to export a publication from InDesign with vertical A4 pages into a PDF file with facing pages. However, the output doesn't come out as A3 landscape with two adjacent pages; instead, it places the pages side-by-side on a vertical A4, cutting off half of each on the outside. How can I make the output consist of two whole A4 pages side-by-side on a horizontal A3 sheet?

This is the thread:
Can you post a screenshot of the settings when you print?
Because, I suspect, you are exporting Spreads - so A4+A4 - but you are still printing on a single A4 - not A3?

Can you post a screenshot of your publication in the InDesign - especially Pages panel?
And another screenshot - from your PDF Export dialog.

OK.
A few weeks ago, someone had a similar problem when exporting PDF for KDP - I'll try to find this thread.

It's working for me in both US sizes and International sizes (Two A4s to horz. A3). Your settings look correct of based on the setting position (and rough translation). You are not printing to PDF--correct?
