Failed to export the pdf file - Alert !!

Hi Everybody !

I am unable to export pdf files from Indesign.

While export progress starts , it gets stope, through te message called: " Failed to export the pdf file - Alert !!"  Thats it.

No other explanation. 

Can you please help me. to resolv this issue 😞

You can try to divide and conquer.

Select half the pages in the export range say if it's 40 pages then export 1-20.

Then try 21-40

Whatever side it fails on - that's where the problem is occurring.

You can then try if it's in range 1-20 to export 1-10 

and so on  until you find the culprit page.

From here you'll have to find something like an image or something that might be corrupt, and resave it as a new name and relink it.

Try export again.

if i have exported a file and the pdf file is open, you cannot do it again until the old pdf file is closed.

Sorry to hear about your experience. Would you mind sharing the version of the OS & InDesign? Are you not able to export a specific file or all? Are you exporting the file on local drive or network? This information would help us assist you accordingly.
