A little more information will help a lot. What versions of InDesign and Photoshop? What OS? What version of the OS? What fonts? How are the fonts installed? Are these Adobe Fonts? And finally, what do you mean by “work?” What are these fonts doing or not doing in InDesign? What are they doing or not doing in Photoshop?

As @Scott Falkner asked, where are the fonts installed? Do you use a font manager?

I am not sure to understand what you mean…
So, the font is activated in FontBook, you can see it in InDesign but you can't see it in Photoshop?

Sometimes, the font name is not displayed the same way in InDesign and in Photoshop. Did you check this?

Probably because the fonts are located in a "Document fonts" folder in your InDesign document directory. When used in Photoshop or any other Adobe software it has to be installed to your system.

Hi @kierong6557187 ,
please do the following:
Use the font AG Old Face in InDesign. One character will be sufficient.
Go to panel Text > Find Fonts... , select the listed font style in the panel and open the More Info... section.
Do a screenshot so that we can see the details.
Thanks,

It's because this font is a Type 1 font which is not recognized by Photoshop, but still recognized by the InDesign version you are using. Please note that InDesign 2023 does not recognize anymore Type 1 fonts.
