Force paragraph return shortcut not working

Hello

I'm running the latest InDeisgn 2025 on a macbook pro (Apple M1 Pro) and have noticed that my force paragraph return shortcut is not working.  And it's only this one shortcut from what I have experience. It's been like this for many months now, and I've been using the dropdown menu to select this manually which takes up a little time.

I've tried restarting InDesign while holding down Shirft + Control + Option + Command but this has not affected anything.

Also, I'm not sure how I would check for conflicting shortcuts from other software (such as Webex).

Any suggestions?
Thanks

When you restarted ID with the modifier keys, did you get the prompt to reset Preferences? What do you mean by "force paragraph return shortcut"? Do you mean hard return (return key), soft return (shift + return key) or column/page break (enter key on extended keyboard, function + return on laptop), or is this a shortcut you've set up within Indesign (Edit Menu/Keyboard Shortcuts)?

It's because of the Keyboard mapping - you need to remap the keys

Something like this

It's because there's a difference between a Return key and the Enter key - and the Mac only has 1

In your response you've already shown me where I was going wrong.  The shortcut is there but I was using the wrong keys!  I have an extended keyboard and was erronously using Shift + Command + Return when I just had to use the Enter key.

Thanks once again.
