When I am using a bullet style, (lets call this level 1 bullet) and hit the return button to go onto the next line, then tab across, I would like the second tab to default to a second bullet style (level 2 bullet).  Is this possible to create.  I am creating a template and it is driving me crazy, I know you can do this in Word.

No. Tab will just insert a tab, it won’t change the formating. You’ll need a different style for the second level of bullets.
