Gaps in cell data when placing Excel spreadsheet

Hello,

I have been using placed Excel spreadsheets and updating them in my InDesign document for years. Today randomly, there were significant and seemingly random gaps in the tables in InDesign after attempting to update the same link. Nothing about the spreadsheet or the InDesign document has changed. I've messed around with cell types in Excel to no avail. I've also tried placing the spreadsheet anew rather than attempting to re-update the link, but the same cells are missing.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Update: I uninstalled and installed InDesign and the issue appears to be fixed for now.
