I have a txt box with the correct styles desired. I copy and paste in txt from Word by placing my cursor somewhere in between some of the styled txt in INDD, in hopes it'll now take on those styles. That's not the case. Can you advise how when pasting in, it can take on those properties?

Thank you.

Hi @r_tist ,

check InDesign's preferences how it handles pasted text.

Make sure the option for pasting formatted text is disabled.
