Hello.
For work i got a new MacMini with the Apple M1 Chip.
On my Macbook Pro with M1 i can check the GPU Settings.
But i dont have this option on MacMini.
"No GPU compatible graphics card or monitor detected"
Anyone got the same experience and problem solved?
Please help.
Greetings.

Hi there,
Sorry to hear about that. The GPU Performance is available on Mac Mini if you are connected to a HiDPI (High Dots Per Inch) display, also known as Apple's "Retina Display." I would suggest you connect with the Monitor manufacturer to know if ts a HiDPI monitor or not.
Thanks & Regards,

But why would be the GPU function depending on a retina display?
So if I want the full performance out of my M1 chip I have to buy a retina monitor?

It sounds 'strange' maybe to you, but yes, it is for HiDPI/Retina displays because they move a lot of data compared to a 'normal' display...
