GREP searches translated to Find/Change by List

Hi gang,

When I make an InDesign GREP search, and it works fine, afterward I can click the little down arrow button to save the GREP search and re-use it later. It saves the search as an xml file that I can open and read in a text editor.

But, suppose I want to transpose that into a Find/Change by List textfile? In the Find Change by List text support file, the expressions are written down differently. Not a problem until you get into GREP complicated by applied text attributes.

Is there something that would allow me to transfer the GREP search into FindChangebyList format, preserving more complicated text attributes along the way?
