Anybody please help with formatting text between special characters! Thank U
Mostly, I just need the right code
In other words and most specific, I have a note in a journal. It looks like in words:
0. line: enter
1st line: "date" character style for the exact date
1st line: "hair space""number of the year and text, ending with -án or -én""flush space and a forced line brak"
2nd line: "bold" charater style up to N-space, but only at the first paragraph of several paragraphs in one paragraph (body) syle
2nd line: body text, but some of the first words I need to be bold. But only in the first paragraph, the upcoming are good simple in body text. Example, when a dotdotdot comes, because after dotdotdot, the next paragraph is also starts with some bold words. (But only in the first p!) So I put manually an N-space after the word, that I want to be the last bolded word.
this is what i would like to format

Can you share some screenshots of what you are actually looking for?

Hi Janos,
you may have tried to add a screenshot to your question, but unfortunately this failed.
So please share a screenshot showing a text frame with your text and invisible characters made visible.
Best use the forum editor function "Insert Photos".
You may also provide a sample InDesign document with some sample text that is showing your case.
And finally:
Do you want to use InDesign's GREP Style feature with paragraph styles?
Or do you simply want to use GREP Find/Change?
Thanks,
Uwe Laubender
