Building a calendar, and it would be helpful to have guides snap to the cells for the master page to help with the placement of holidays or other special dates. This is something I would think it would already do, but nah.
Someday the InDesign Forum (like Photoshop's is now) will be mult-ipurpose: a place to ask questions and also to log feature requests and bug reports. That's why the tags are in there.
