Have to Reset Workspace Every Time I Open Adobe InDesign 17.4

Explorer ,
Jul 26, 2023 Jul 26, 2023

I am on a Mac Pro, 2019, 3.2 GHz 16-core Intel Xeon W, running macOS Ventura 13.1.

When I restart my computer and open Adobe InDesign or Photoshop, there are no toolbars or windows showing. It is just a blank workspace. I have to go up to Window>Workspace>Reset PATRICK every time I open either of the programs.

It is a small annoyance but I am getting sick of having to do this. Any ideas?

I won't speak to Photoshop but for InDesign I'd suggest restroring your InDesign preferences and caches:

@popcorn83 :

judging by your description, it appears that you experience this known bug:

try to update to the latest version of Ventura - it's possible it's fixed now (I didn't see this bug for months).
