HELP! Grey background on PDFs!

Why are my PDFs suddenly exporting from Indesign 2021 (16.4) with a grey/brown background when they should be white? This is starting to prove really problematic to my work! I've looked everywhere for a solution but struggling to find a definitive answer.

Can you post screenshots of the InDesign page and of the PDF?

Probably not it, but you would tend to see a grayish background in separations preview in Acrobat if Simulate Paper Color is enabled.
