Help?! Indesign has been trying to download a font for days and I can't figure out how to stop it.

It's clogging up exporting pdfs and such and I can't seem to get it to go away.  I've completely closed down Indesign and then when I reopen it, it starts back up again.

Hello @tzuhouse,

Would you mind trying the following steps and checking if they help:

  • Close all Adobe applications
  • Remove the Creative Cloud Desktop application, CCLibrary, and CoreSync using the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool (https://adobe.ly/449uEyt)
  • Reinstall the Creative Cloud Desktop application (https://adobe.ly/44w2g9I)
  • Relaunch InDesign

Looking forward to hearing from you.

From the Creative Cloud app, click on the cloud, then pause & unpause syncing. That will do it for me sometimes. If it doesn't, from the same app, log out & then log back in. If those don't work, try Anubhav's suggestion.
