Help needed: Updates to keyboard commands and shortcuts?

Is anyone else experiencing issues in InDesign? Common keyboard commands and shortcuts aren't working. For example, holding shift no longer constrains angles to 45 & 90 degrees. In addition,holding option and dragging a selection no longer duplicates it.

Also, holding down the spacebar no longer allows me to scrub across the page.
