Hello!

I have two documents with a table in which the row fill shows differently:

DocMaik_0-1741787460004.png

I cannot determine why, because:

  • both use the same color gradient (CMYK type, C=30, M=20, Y=19, K=58, Tint 10%)
  • the "Transparency Blend Space" setting on both is the same
  • the "Proof setup" and "Proof colors" settings on both are the same
  • the "Fills" settings for the tables are identical

I don't see why the grey fill on the left document is brighter. Do you have ideas what could cause could be? TIA.

What is the INTENT in the Document settings / properties?

Please check this thread:

https://community.adobe.com/t5/indesign-discussions/same-image-displays-differently-when-copying-fro...

It's also possible, that you've ANYTHING on the same spread in either of the documents - with Transparency effect.

You can post your files here - or upload them somewhere and send me link privately - please click my nickname - and I can take a look if above won't work.

I don't know, to be honest. Those tables were not supposed to be in those documents as table, but as placed INDD. So I placed the actual INDD (one for three languages) and then the color wasn't different anymore, of course. Before that I simply deleted the wrong tables, as I hadn't yet seen your post. Never mind and thanks anyway.
