Help with GREP to move all text box objects that begin with a certain word to a different layer

Another challenge for the community GREP knowlege base. In a catalog we are working on, we need to move all the text boxes that begin with the word "RETAIL" to another layer. How can we do this across the catalog using a GREP expression?

I can't think of a way that GREP could do this, since GREP affects the text itself, and not the container (text frame). 

There may be a scripting solution, but that is outside of my expertise. There are a lot of good scripters who post here; maybe one of them can help.
