I am searching the document for the word See that comes before small caps and I want to change from regular font to italic.
Find what:
See \u
I want to change only the word See to italics but it is also changing the first letter that is in small caps.
How do I stop it at the end of the word See so that it does not also change the first letter of the next word?
Thank you.
change your find to make use of a postive lookahead:
See (?=\u)

One more question, please? Only one, I promise.
Searching for:
See also (and text that follows until end of sentence.)
Change to:
See also (bold italics) and text that follows until end of sentence. (bold)

For this one, I would create a paragraph style that utilized a nested style to add the italics to the See also
That way, you could search for See also, and apply the paragraph style to create all the formatting in one go.
