In my TOC page numbers are before titles. After the page number I inserted a TAB (^t), which produces a distance of 13 mm - a bit to much for my taste. I was unable to find a way to change this distance.
Is there any possibility?
Thanks
Bernd

You need to make a paragraph style for your Table of Contents - there you can set the Tab distances.
And then apply the TOC styles when setting up your TOC.

Can you show your Paragraph settings, specifically the tabs, indents, and numbering sections?

In none of my Paragraph settings are any tabs, indents, or numberings

You HAVE to set a tab in your TOC paragraph style. Otherwise InDesign will default to 0.5 inch/13mm.

Select the text, and set a tab stop with Type > Tabs. Redefine the style after you are satisfied with the position. Remember that tab stops are controlled by arrows, and indents are controlled by the triangles. It sounds like you moved a triangle earlier.
