How (or where) to type in/edit Ruby on a character.

Am using CJK InDesign via Ken Lunde method -- have all the settings, but I can't figure out how to literally add the ruby characters to character. (Maybe hidden since I still have English UI?)

Have looked in Character palette, story editor, under menus, but I'm stumped.

Can import text that has Ruby included, but need to edit. Any help appreciated.

There's a help file here
https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/using/formatting-cjk-characters.html

From what I remember, it's been a while since I typeset in these languages

From th  the "Type" menu, can you choose "Character" and select "Advanced Character Formats"?

There should be an option to enable 'Ruby' or it might be called 'Furigana'

Sorry - should have said more clearly -- the info was there. I've read that page so many times, but somehow did not see it. Ack. Thank you!
