How to aplly stroke on a linked photo inside a table cell

Does anyone know how to apply a stroke on photo inside a table cell.

This feature worked until v 17.4.2, and now I open the file and the strokes are missing.

I don't want to apply a stroke on the table cell, just on the photos - they are not the same size, so the table cell won't do the trick...

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry for the trouble. I am unable to reproduce the workflow and was not able to see the Strokes option on my end on the InDesign17 version. Is it possible for you to record a video of the workflow and share it with us for a better understanding?
