How to identify if there is an empty space around the textframe i:e(Top,Right,Bottom,Left) using script?

Does anyone with a suggestion or is this possible to identify?

Decrease the height and width (visibleBounds) of the TextFrame until it overflows

Check the geometric bounds of text frames on the page.

Work always with Object Styles, so you can temporarely add area or stroke color.

But if you did not work with dedicated Object Styles, you can change the stroke and area to all given default styles in [] to show them temporarel.

Hi @SA8888 ,

you need to write your own solution.

What I can think of is to export the page to PDF and render it with PhotoShop to do a selection with all pixels on the page. With that you can determine empty spaces.

"Copy" the frame and "Paste in place"
"Fit frame to content" in "Adjust size"
Looking at the difference between the original frame and the geometric bounds may help you understand the meaning of the space.

I may have misunderstood the sentence, I wondered if there was space around the text.
