Hello dears!
I will receive a Word file with two kinds of notes, one with asterisks - as footnotes - and one with numbers - as endnotes -.
Word allows you to have a double system of notes, but as far as I know Indesign doesn't.
Is there anyone who may suggest how to proceed?
Thanks in advance!
PS: I already found this thread but I was wondering if there's a clever fix in the last versions of Indesign

Hi @gregolla:

two kinds of notes, one with asterisks - as footnotes - and one with numbers - as endnotes -.

Current versions of InDesign do support endnotes.

Here's a screenshot from version CC 2022 that shows both footnotes (using asterisks and other text characters), as well as endnotes using numbers.
