I wonder if it is possible to create mini cells within a cell just to make a color of? How do you do this? See attached with the grey boxes filled under weeks of the month.

Hi @LillaBjorna ,

if you start from scratch, doing a new table, plan one column for every "mini cell". That are 4 per month.

Later on you could merge the four cells in the row above to get one cell showing the month.

If you already have just one column for every month, just split the cell vertical to get "mini cells".

There is a menu command for this if you select the cell. You have to repeat this two times. And you have to do split cells for every of your month columns.

The one that is selected - blue outline?

You just need to create as many columns as individual cells - then merge cells to get "wide" column / "high" row.

Actually I am now confused about how to split cells so that they become uneven. I mean if I want 5 cells in a row instead of 4. Is there a smooth way to create that? Or recreate if I already have a table with 4?

You can merge cells only as "rectangle" areas - you can't merge them like on your screenshot.

Although you can turn off edges so it will look like "L" but physically it won't be one "L" shaped cell.

Hmm not sure I understand. In the month of Aug I need 5 weeks and not 4 as I have now. How do I create that in the easiest way? The horizontal cells need to be 5.

Select column 32 or 33 and insert new column - before or after.

Hi @LillaBjorna ,

if you need 4 cells and also 5 cells you start out with 20 columns for one month.

The number of columns must be dividibly by 4 and also by 5.
