how to shift U+0306 combining breve vertically

The sequence U+0101 plus U+0306 should look like the one pictured on the left. Now I fail to remember what I did to make it look like this rather than like the one pictured on the right. (I took an old file and did copy-and-paste here.)

U0306.pngIn both these cases, the character style applied is the same, the character panels look identical (incl. Baseline Shift: 0 pt), and the paragraph style simply tells me "Mixed overrides". (It's an OpenType font.)

Can anyone tell me what the override is? My plan is to then include the correct setting in a new character style to make sure all occurrences of U+0306 are rendered correctly.

Select the breve, then move it up using baseline shift. You find that in the character panel.
