Hello All,

I created a document in INDD, hyperlinked it, saved it as a PDF, and emailed it to myself. When I click the PDF, it opens into a PDF program, and I can click the hyperlinked area, and it opens to the website I linked. My question is, if I want to upload this document as an image to social media and have someone click it to get to the website, how should I save this document? I am a student still learning, so I appreciate your help and patience in explaining this to me.

While most "social media" shares some characteristics, the details will change with each platform. In general, though, embedded hyperlinks are not always reliable; I think some platforms actively suppress them as both a security and "control" measure.

You are better off uploading simple images that match the platform's needs and applying any click-through links using its processes and tools.
