Hyperlinks don't transfer properly when moving pages to other document?

I am creating a digital planner for myself so I have made 12 different documents (one for each month of the year) because it's easier to deal with 80~ pages at once rather than 1,000. I hyperlinked everything by page # and it was all working properly until I went to compile them all together in a sort-of master document. All of a sudden all of my hyperlinks are deciding to only link to the page they are on? I thought "oh man maybe thats wasn't possible" but half of the hyperlinks are working as they should...? I don't know if maybe I did it wrong somehow. Please help. Thank you.

Moving the pages to a new document will break the hyperlink destinations. Maybe you should do the links last?
