I can no longer search files from inside InDesign on my Google Drive

Hi,

For several weeks I have been running into the following problem:

I can no longer search files from inside InDesign by (partial) file name that are on my Google Drive.

It used to work perfect and quickly. Now, very inconveniently, I have to go to the Google Drive app to search for a file.

Especially when I need to fill a catalog with illustrations, this is no way to work.

Does anyone have an idea why this feature is suddenly no longer working?

Greetings, Martin

Hi Kevin,

Thanks for your response.
The problem of @jonc71514996 is of a different nature.
I cannot store all the files that are in the cloud on my MacBook, I do not have enough storage for that.

I can no longer search Google Drive in the dialog box from any Adobe application.
For several weeks now, that only lists results from files physically on my hard drive, Google Drive is no longer searched.

That is an OS problem of the Mac (due to changed API's in the Mac OS) and not a problem of Adobe software... sadly enough.
