Am I the only one that I'm losing some documents (5 InDesign and 1 Illustrator files until now) with unknown file issues?? I'm getting crazy!! Staff isn't helping me, just says "Unfortunately, the file is irreparable", and the solutions doesn't help.

The errors are:

"Could not perform requested operation on file "unknown document" in Indesign"

"Your order could not be completed due to a database error"

In the beginning I thought it was because of a driver update. But last week I didn't update anything, but today I lost again a new file, with same issue.

I don't know what's happening.

Neither of the errors you quoted are familiar, or read like anything I've ever seen in an Adobe app. Could you please post more details surrounding these instances; what you were attempting when the errors occurred, and how you went about it, your version, OS, etc.?

Hi @John Mensinger ,
Meanwhile, Adobe staff forwarded me to an Adobe international engineer and the answer was that I need to work on files locally. That means that I need to have the files in local hard disk, and just after I finish, I can save it, and move it to an external hard drive. I will see if this help me.

Thank you for your attention!

Regards,
Julien
