IDML Conversion issue - Characters deleted & anchors inserted

During downgrade from InDesign CC 2019 to CC 2018, the text got deleted & space introduced (highlighted in yellow) and also images were kept without anchored but the converted file contains some images were anchored and text deleted. Refer the below screenshots for your quick reference. Please provide any suggestions.

The first question is, "why are you using such old versions?" The second is, "why aren't all users on the same version?"

The reason I'm asking is because even if it's a bug it will never get fixed in two- or three-year-old versions of InDesign.

Thanks Bob, We will follow to use the same version of InDesign (CC2019) for all users.

You should be aware that 2019 is no longer officially available and if any new users join the group, they won't be able to install it.

You didn't answer me as to why you're stuck on three year old version.

interesting issues and bugs…

Would the IDML file from InDesign CC 2019 open as expected if you open it as document in the very same version, in InDesign CC 2019 and not in CC 2018?
