Hi Jakob,

check the Import options before you place the Excel file.

You can keep some of the formatting of the table.

Hold the Shift key if you have selected your Excel file and hit OK to import it.

Enable the Import options permanently and check the option.

Its our annual financial report, which is build in Excel. I can't share it, sorry.

But my experience is, that when the files is saved wih active macros (a lot of calculations etc.) I could not get the tables with formats from excel.

I tried with an simpel Excel-file I made by my self with different fonts, colors etc. And that was possible to import with the formating. So, I saved the annual report file with with out macros, and now I works perfect 🙂

Thanks. Actually I was doing that.

But, my learning was, that not all Excel files can be used. I changed the file-type, and now I can use the function.

Thanks for your time.

Could you tell more about this?

Do you have a sample Excel file you could share?

Thanks,
