I’m working on a website produced whit WordPress. Now we want to make a weekly print publication. We want to implement a web-first workflow.  We want to use text and images from WordPress. Images are upload to  WordPress in high resolution.
Does anyone have any idea about how to implement it whit Adobe InDesign?

I really appreciate any help you can provide.

Are you looking to make your weekly pub look exactly like the WordPress site? Or are you looking to simply re-use the content in a print-centric InDesign document?

The reason I ask this is because in the second instance, you're probably better off working with the source content than trying to scrape it from your website. And in the first, it probably makes more sense too. If you're doing this manually at the low end, it'll be faster to dump source content directly into your InDesign publication templates, massage them as necessary and go to press. At the higher end, you can use XML workflows to populate both your WordPress site and your InDesign-generated publications even more quickly and efficiently ... after you set up the process and work the bugs out of it.

What kind of publication are you looking to produce? How are you going to produce it? How much design fidelity do you need between how your site looks and your publication appears in print?

I apologize for answering your question with a whole bunch of other questions, but if we know what you've got and what you want to do, we can offer a lot more help to get you where you want to be.

Hope this helps,

Randy

I tested it today. Is very easy to use.

I can save much time. The add-on preserve bold, cursive and links (PDF version of print publication). The featured image is downloaded and center.

Thanks a lot. 🙂

Yes, you can download it from Adobe Exchange. Maybe there was an error on the web. Try it again!
