In the new InDesign 2026 (Czech language version on macOS), there’s still an issue with the “Show Import Options”checkbox.
When importing graphics, the Finder window opens as usual, but InDesign no longer remembers whether the “Show Import Options” box was checked. In older versions, this preference stayed active even after restarting the app.
Now I have to check it manually every single time I place a file.
Is this an intentional change or a bug?

In my US English 2026 version it remains on during a session, but after restarting, it is off again. I checked 2025 and got the same result.
A longtime shortcut that you may find helpful is to Shift+click Open after selecting the file you want to import (or Shift+dbl click the filename). That always forces Import Options to open, whether or not it is checked.
