Hello everyone, I am attempting to create a document that will be exported as a PDF. Within this document I would like to link to other pdf’s that I have also created in indd however I want to know if there is a way to do this without having to have an external hyperlink. For instance is there a way to set everything up in one file as cross-references but have certain pages hidden when in PDF format that only become accessible through a link elsewhere in the document, or a way that I can embed pdf’s directly into a document that appear as links and open as a new document when clicked but are all packaged as the same document. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated thanks!

You're asking this in the InDesign forum but what you really want to do is ask this in the Acrobat forum:
There is an Acrobat feature called a PDF Portfolio.
Here is a link to the description from Acrobat Help:

Thanks I'll check it out. I was asking in the Indesign forum because I wanted to know if there was a way to add it in while creating the document since I use Indesign for that.

This Help file about Acrobat Portfolios gives you a good overview of the format:
