INDD wont show Workfront extensions menu, PSHOP and ILLUS do

Steps that lead to issue:

a. launch PSHOP or ILLUS

b. go to Window menu (top middle of screen in Mac menubar)

c. click on Extensions / legacy / Workfront

d. launch INDD - same path doesnt show Workfront option

Installing Workfront from Marketplace link within Creative Cloud Desktop App for Mac

- am I missing something here?

the solution lies in the use of Adobe Creative Cloud, to search, download, install, and ultimately login to Workfront, for anybody following. Yes, Workfront's plugins at the time of this writing do seem to require Creative apps from 2021, but once these are correctly setup, the new 2022 apps will recognize WF and work as well.
