I'm not a GD or trained so apologies for the incorrect language used.
I'm using an installed font in my doc and for some reason some text boxes blur/stuff up the font.

When I click into the text box and type - it goes back to "normal". when I click out of the text box, the text blurs again.

The bad-looking text is exporting to PDF as well.
when I run a Package Report it seems fine:

Name: HelveticaNeueLTPro-Roman; Type: OpenType Type 1, Status: OK
Filename: C:\Users\Document fonts\HelveticaNeueLTProRoman.otf
Full Name: Helvetica Neue LT Pro 55 Roman
Protected: No

I'm really not sure what is going on and I really don't want to copy and paste the 53+ pages

Hi @samantha28288017dxz0,

Does this thing happen only on this docunent? Did you try opening this file on another computer and see if the issue persists or not? If it's just this document then exporting to IDML and then resaving it to INDD could help. Try reinstalling the font as well if nothing else works.

Let us know how this goes and we shall discuss more if you are still stuck

  1. Di you work with layers? You should do so.
  2. Do you work with transparency? Put any transparent object above and not below these objects?
  3. Did you apply any effects on text or their frames?
  4. Do you work with Paragraph Styles? You should always use them.
