Hi all,
When selecting fonts in InDesign, I cannot scroll thru the fonts font-by-font like I can in Illustrator. In order to get the font menu to scroll, I have to move the mouse wheel faster than I would like, forcing me to scroll back to see the fonts I missed because I have to scroll so fast. I can scroll font-by-font in Illustrator just fine. Anyone else experiencing this or know of a fix?

I have InDesign 18.4 on a MacBook Pro 2021 M1 and have Magic Mouse. I would agree with you.
But I never select fonts that way. I recommend either using the Up and Down arrow keys which can precisely move one font at a time. Or if you know that font you want, highlight the Font field in the Control Panel, and start typing the name of the font you want. Very fast if you have a long font list like I do.

Thanks, Steve. Yes, if I know the font, I do select the field and type in the name, but when exploring for a new design, it is nice to be able to look at each font in my list as I scroll. I suppose I could use a combo of the arrow keys and mouse wheel, but that does not explain why the menu in InDesign works wonky now. Should be a simple fix.

I'd suggest that you post a feature request (but first look to see if there is one there already) at the InDesign User Voice website.

Producct managers and engineers do not usually read requests like yours in the user forums. But they read and respond to those post at that site. Plus others who feel the same way can vote for your request.

Another user has posted in the Bug forum about this same issue. I replied to his post.
