Just updated to the newest ID. I'm getting the attached message when trying to open my files. Can anyone help? I'm the only user.

Check if there are any hidden files with extension .idlk in the folder where your InDesign file resides. If it is, then trash it and then try to open the INDD file. Also, can you tell us your documents save location? Is it a local hard drive or someplace like Dropbox or Google Drive.
