Hi there!
Lots of designers in my company are noticing a trend of InDesign 2022 crashing when trying to export their file to PDF. It happens on every PDF export setting, including the factory provided ones, and the error is always a general "failure to export" error. But if we IDML the file and take it to 2020, it exports fine with no issues.
It happens mostly with files that started out as 2020 files, but a few people said it's happened with some files made in 2022 as well.
The files are books, so multiple pages with text and anchored images. Nothing special.
We've tried adjusting compatability, changing PSD files to JPGs...nothing seems to fix it other than using 2020 to export.
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance!

Haave you saved the files before exporting - saving as 2022 not leaving as [converted]?

Yes, we are saving in 2022 before exporting. In response to your other question, we are exporting locally.

Are there any specical characters in the file names?

No, the fanciest thing in the file names is an underscore.
Example: XX_XX_00-00

Are you exporting the PDF to your local drive or to a server/shared/external source?
Do the files crash if exported locally?
