InDesign 2022 update 17.4.1 contains a jittering screen problem that renders it unusable

Why is it that every time I run an update, I get a whole new set of problems? 

Has anyone else encountered this problem? flicking back into Indesign creates a jitter that is slowly nudging my central view to the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. There is no active mouse, trackpad or tablet that could be nudging it, and it's only doing it in Indesign. see screen capture attached.

Hi @siobhan74:

Try InDesign > Preferences > GPU Performance and uncheck GPU Performance. Does that make it stop?
