InDesign 2025 shortens URLs in hyperlinks

I'm making a report with a long references section full of hyperlinks. On opening the file the next day and exporting it to interactive PDF, almost half of the URLs had been shortened (they are quite long). I put the full URLs in but somehow they got shortened – not sure why this is happening? Never had this problem in earlier versions of indesign

This is not behavior ID is known for, or, IMHO, likely to do.

Can you post some (screenshot) examples?
