I know there's a work around for this but it's ridiculous that I still have to hold down certain keys for InDesign to open on my Macbook Pro. When I try to open, I see the logo but then nothing. We pay too much money to use this for it to not work.

More notes: I tried what someone suggested to another user. I do not see an option for "recover". See attached for what system I'm running. The only way I can open is to do this EVERY TIME for the last year. Shift+Option+Command+Control while launching InDesign

First of all InDesign CC 2025 has caused issues on even the latest Macs. Running it on a six year old machine with an older operating system is already living dangerously. The version of Ventura you have is 13.2.1 but that operating system was updatable to 13.7.4. If it is possible for you to do so then try updating the Ventura and see if that helps. If you are unable to update or that doesn't help then it would probably be a good idea to go back to CC 2024. It seems that in recent years that as Macs get older and the Mac OS continues to drastically evolve Creative Cloud apps have more and more problems trying to keep up with the changes. It is my experience that waiting several months before updating both my Mac OS and version of InDesign is the best way to avoid problems.

Outdated Ventura (which @Bill Silbert has already mentioned) IS the reason for your problem.
