Indesign (and all other apps) keep crashing without opening

Hi,

 

I have installed through Creative Cloud the lastest Indesign. It hasn't been working for a couple months now and I keep getting charged!

I have tried to uninstall, reinstall, delete, restart etc. and nothing is working.

Please help. 

 

I have a Mac running the latest version, macos big sur.

Hi Hannah.

 

What kind of Mac do you have? How much RAM does it have? Is it an Intel processor or is it one of the M1 SOC (system-on-a-chip) Macs?

 

There's a new update to InDesign released today that helps users with M1 Silicon Macs, and has other stability updates to benefit all Macs. Have you downloaded, updated and tried that version too?

 

We want to help, but we need a whole lot more information to best be able to assist you.
