InDesign - are the "Hidden Until Triggered" buttons accessible with a screen reader?

Testing an iPDF document that was developed in InDesign for accessibility with a screen reader (JAWS).  JAWS skips the text that pops up (button that is hidden until triggered), and reads the next item on the slide.

Are the "Hidden Until Triggered" buttons accessible with a screen reader?

Attached one of the pages of an IPDF below.  Green buttons trigger the hidden text (converted to buttons) but screen reader skips them.

Is there something I'm missing in the setup in the Indesign file?

I'm no expert but if accessibility is imperative, you're going to need to keep it relatively simple. Show / hide buttons are no way to do that.

Thanks so much for your speedy reply!  We are trying to design an engaging iPDF that is also accessible.  We have built some knowledge checks into it - and don't want the answers revealed until the learner clicks on one of the multiple choice buttons (not shown in the sample I have provided).

I am still curious to know from Adobe if the feature "Hidden Until Triggered" - where once the text is shown - if it is accessible, meaning a screen reader CAN read the text once revealed.   I may have missed something in a setting, for instance, that may be needed.  I have the Hidden text (aka button) in the reading order of the Articles but screen reader doesn't read it once it's in the final IPDF, which is also tagged properly.

Thanks I look forward to hear back from Adobe.

Again...accessibility is not my area of expertise. Perhaps someone will be along to help but I will warn you that even ignoring the need for accessibility, what you're attempting to do is wonky at best in Acrobat or Reader and will likely fail to work at all in many other third-party readers and mobile devices.
