Hi,
How can I change the dark Gray background behind my uploaded document to Black or White?
My catalog has the same color as the background so my pages blend in with the background.
I already tried InDesign > Preferences > Interface, it will change the background in the InDesign file but once uploaded it defaults back to the dark Gray.
Thanks for any help.

Ask for it as a feature request. You'll find a link in the help menu.

It appears you cannot define the background color of the webpage that delivers the EPUB image.

Not the answer I was hoping for. Hopefully this will be available soon.

Of course, in the meantime, you could change your background color in your design.

This issue hasn't been addressed in almost 4.5 years?
Please allow the background color, when publishing online in InDesign, to be changed. thanks.

What a waste of time my project has been to find this out at the end of designing!

Solved means it was correct for the OP and at the time of posting (appx. 6 years ago).
Solved does not mean a particular feature has been added.

Got tired of waiting for a certain Mr. Godot I presume. 🙂 Must be a proper curve ball for a 6+ years wait.

Agree with the other posters here saying this has not been "solved" and still requires attention.
