Hi, please,
I need to automatically update the product price change in the indesign business catalog based on the value change in the Excel spreadsheet. When I change the price in Excel, I automatically want a change in the indesign.
Is it possible please and how?
Thank you,
Jan Maghreb
Indesign Preference > File Handling > Tick the box for ...Create links when placing text and spreadsheet files

One thing to note when linking an Excel spreadsheet—when updates are made in the spreadsheet, any formatting applied to the table in InDesign will be lost, so you'll want to create table and cell styles in the InDesign document so you can quickly reformat.

And: The placed and linked table should sit in its own text frame ( story ).
Why? Because updating the linked Excel file will update the whole story.
That means: All added text before and after the placed Excel table will be erased with an update.
